- 4 center cut pork chops, about ½ inch thick
- ¼ C Asiago/Parmesan graded cheese
- 1 C Italian bread crumbs
- Pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 C Milk
Preheat oven to 350º. Prepare a baking dish or deep cookie sheet with a light olive oil coating. Mix together cheese, pepper and bread crumbs in a shallow bowl that is big enough to place pork chop into. In a separate shallow bowl, mix together egg and milk. Coat each pork chop completely in milk mixture and then breading mixture, repeat if needed. Place on baking sheet and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until no pink remains and juices run clear, do not over cook. Turn once during baking. Serves 4. Note: For added appeal and taste, finely chop fresh basil and add to the bread crumb mixture.
